The 42nd Annual Fall Festival was held on Saturday morning, October 6, 2018 in Centre, Alabama.
Well over 100 assorted vendors lined beautiful Main Street with booths dedicated to crafts, food, art, and play. Disney characters were also seen wandering around available for hugs and pictures. Sir Clumsy the Clown, Ventriloquist David Turner, and Scott Tripp the juggling magician were on site with wonderful shows for the audience. There was a dance recital featuring dancers of all ages from What-A-Dance Studio that showed off some very impressive local talent.
The Annual Fun Run for children ages 3-13 started off at 9:30 am with over 140 runners this year. Following that was the Fall Festival Parade at 10:30 am. This year’s Grand Marshal was Floyd EMS. Floyd EMS was followed by antique tractors, vintage cars, the CCHS marching band, horses, and many more.
The City of Centre is proud to report that we had a record turnout year with vendor booths, runners, and patrons.
A special “Thank You” to everyone who makes this much-loved Fall Festival happen for our community every year.
